1. Overview
This policy governs all aspects of listing and selling items on Moto Parts Base. By creating a seller account and listing products, you agree to this policy, our Terms of Service, and all other platform rules. Moto Parts Base is a marketplace connecting buyers with independent sellers of motorcycle parts.
2. Seller Eligibility & Verification
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- All sellers must complete Identity Verification via Stripe Connect before publishing listings or receiving payouts.
- Business sellers must provide valid business and tax information.
- We reserve the right to approve, reject, or suspend any seller account.
3. Listing Requirements
- Accuracy: All listings must contain honest, complete, and accurate information including title, description, specifications, condition (new/used/refurbished/OEM/aftermarket), compatibility (make, model, year), price, and high-quality photos from multiple angles.
- Inventory: You must keep stock levels accurate. Remove or mark as unavailable any out-of-stock items immediately.
- Pricing: Prices must be final. You are responsible for any pricing mistakes.
- Images & Media: Photos and videos must be your own or properly licensed. No stock images or misleading visuals.
- Keywords & SEO: Do not engage in keyword stuffing or misleading titles.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
You may not list:
- Counterfeit, replica, or fake parts
- Stolen or illegally obtained items
- Recalled products
- Hazardous materials (unless fully compliant with regulations)
- Items that infringe trademarks, copyrights, or patents
- Any products prohibited by law or our platform rules
Violations will result in immediate removal of listings and possible account suspension.
5. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Ship items promptly (ideally within 1–2 business days of order confirmation).
- Provide accurate tracking information through the platform.
- Use the shipping method selected by the buyer or clearly stated in your listing.
- You are responsible for proper packaging and ensuring items arrive in the described condition.
6. Payments & Payouts
- All buyer payments are processed securely through our platform (Stripe).
- Payouts are issued via Stripe Connect to your linked bank account (typically 3–14 business days after delivery confirmation, minus platform commission and fees).
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your sales (including 1099-K reporting where required).
7. Returns, Refunds & Buyer Disputes
- You must comply with our Return & Refund Policy and Money Back Guarantee.
- For seller-caused issues (wrong item, defective part, misrepresentation) you are responsible for return shipping costs and refunds.
- Respond to buyer messages and disputes within 24–48 hours.
8. Prohibited Seller Conduct
- Communicating with buyers outside the platform (except for official order-related matters)
- Manipulating reviews or feedback
- Listing the same items elsewhere at lower prices in a misleading way
- Any form of fraud, spam, or abuse of the platform
9. Seller Performance & Enforcement
We monitor:
- On-time shipping rate
- Order defect rate
- Customer satisfaction and feedback
- Policy compliance
Repeated violations may lead to listing removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates this policy at any time.
10. Fees
- Platform commission and Stripe processing fees are deducted automatically from each sale.
- Current fee structure is available in your Seller Dashboard.
