If the item you receive is significantly not as described, defective, or damaged during shipping, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

2. Eligibility

You are covered by our Money Back Guarantee if:

  • The item is materially different from the listing description or photos (wrong part, wrong condition, missing components, etc.).
  • The item arrives defective or non-functional (and was listed as working/new).
  • The item is damaged in transit (with proper packaging by the seller).

3. Timeframe

  • You must contact the seller and open a case within 30 days of receiving the item (delivery confirmation date).
  • Return the item within 7 days after approval of the return request (unless otherwise agreed).

4. What is NOT Covered

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
  • Items that no longer fit due to incorrect compatibility information provided by the buyer.
  • Normal wear and tear on used parts.
  • Items damaged by improper installation or misuse.
  • Shipping costs (unless the seller is at fault).
  • Items returned without original packaging or in a different condition than received.

5. Process

  1. Contact the seller through the platform messaging system and explain the issue with photos/videos.
  2. If the seller and buyer cannot reach an agreement, open a dispute through the platform.
  3. Return the item following the provided instructions (tracking required).
  4. Once the returned item is received and inspected by the seller, a refund will be processed to your original payment method.
  5. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days after approval (depending on your bank/card issuer).

6. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Return the item in the same condition as received (including packaging, accessories, and manuals).
  • Provide clear evidence (photos, description of the problem).
  • Cover return shipping costs unless the item is proven to be significantly not as described or defective.

7. Seller Responsibilities

  • Respond to return requests promptly (within 48 hours).
  • Issue refunds fairly according to this policy.
  • Cover return shipping in cases where the seller is clearly at fault.

8. Platform Role

Moto Parts Base and Stripe may step in to mediate disputes and facilitate refunds when necessary to protect the buyer.
