1. Purpose

These policies outline expected behavior for all users (buyers and sellers) on Moto Parts Base to ensure a safe, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace for motorcycle parts.

2. General Rules for All Members

  • Be honest, respectful, and professional in all communications.
  • Use the platform’s messaging system for all order-related communication.
  • Do not share personal contact information (phone, email, social media, etc.) to bypass the platform.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws.

3. Prohibited Behaviors

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:

  • Harassment & Abuse: Threatening, insulting, discriminating, or harassing any user or staff member.
  • Fraud & Misrepresentation: Providing false information in listings, profiles, or communications.
  • Manipulation: Review manipulation, fake feedback, shill bidding, or artificially inflating sales.
  • Spam & Advertising: Unsolicited advertising, bulk messages, or promoting external websites/businesses.
  • Bypassing Platform: Attempting to complete transactions outside the platform to avoid fees or policies.
  • Illegal Activities: Listing or selling prohibited/restricted items, money laundering, or any illegal conduct.
  • Technical Abuse: Using bots, scripts, scraping data, or attempting to hack/exploit the platform.
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, staff member, or brand.
  • Off-Platform Deals: Encouraging or agreeing to transactions outside Moto Parts Base.

4. Communication Rules

  • Respond to messages within 24–48 hours (sellers especially during business days).
  • Keep communication clear, polite, and relevant to the transaction.
  • Do not use offensive language or share inappropriate content.

5. Feedback & Reviews

  • Feedback must be honest and based on actual experience.
  • You may not offer or accept compensation (money, discounts, free items) in exchange for reviews.
  • Abusive or retaliatory feedback may be removed.

6. Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of these policies may result in:

  • Warning
  • Temporary suspension of account or listings
  • Permanent account termination
  • Forfeiture of funds (in cases of fraud)
  • Reporting to law enforcement when appropriate

We use a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce these rules. Decisions are final.
