Transparent Fees for Sellers
At Moto Parts Base we keep fees simple and competitive so you can maximize your profit when selling motorcycle parts.
1. Marketplace Commission
- Standard Commission: 8% per successful sale (on the item subtotal, before shipping and taxes).
- Reduced Commission (for high-volume or premium sellers): Available after reaching certain sales thresholds — check your Seller Dashboard for personalized rates.
2. Payment Processing Fees
- Processed via Stripe: Approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (standard U.S. rate).
- These fees are deducted automatically at the time of sale.

*Shipping charges paid by the buyer go directly to you (minus any carrier fees you incur).
4. Other Fees
- Featured / Promoted Listings — Optional paid promotion (prices shown at time of purchase).
- Refund Fees — If a refund is issued, the original commission and processing fees are generally not refunded.
- Chargeback Fees — $20–$50 per chargeback + loss of commission (if buyer wins the dispute).
- No monthly subscription or listing fees for standard accounts.
5. Payouts
- Minimum payout threshold: $50.
- Payouts via Stripe Connect to your linked U.S. bank account (ACH).
- Typical payout schedule: 3–7 business days after order is marked as delivered + buyer confirmation period.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings. Stripe will provide 1099-K forms for U.S. sellers who meet IRS thresholds.
7. Fee Changes
We may update fees in the future. Any changes will be announced in advance via email and in the Seller Dashboard.
