2. Prohibited Items (Completely Banned)
The following items are not allowed on Moto Parts Base:
- Counterfeit, Replica, or Fake Parts — Any non-genuine or imitation motorcycle parts, including fake OEM, brand-name copies, or misrepresented aftermarket parts.
- Stolen or Illegally Obtained Goods — Any item known or suspected to be stolen.
- Recalled Items — Products subject to active safety recalls (by manufacturer or government agency).
- Hazardous Materials — Items that are flammable, explosive, toxic, or require special shipping (e.g., certain chemicals, batteries with damaged casing, compressed gases).
- Infringing Items — Products that violate trademarks, copyrights, patents, or design rights (including unauthorized use of logos, part numbers, or branding).
- Weapons & Firearms-Related Parts (if regulated).
- Illegal Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, or Controlled Substances.
- Human Remains, Body Parts, or Illegal Animal Products.
- Lottery Tickets, Gambling Items, or Pyramid Schemes.
- Any item prohibited by law or that promotes illegal activity.
3. Restricted Items (Require Approval or Special Compliance)
These items may be allowed only if they fully comply with regulations and you obtain prior approval from the platform:
- Used OEM Parts — Must be accurately described with clear photos showing condition and mileage (where applicable).
- Performance / Modified Parts — Must include proper disclaimers regarding emissions compliance, street legality, and warranty impact.
- Batteries & Electrical Components — Must follow proper shipping and safety guidelines.
- Tires & Wheels — Must meet current safety standards and include accurate wear information.
- Large or Oversized Parts — Must be listed with accurate shipping dimensions and weight.
4. Seller Responsibilities
- Carefully review every listing before publishing.
- Provide accurate condition descriptions and photos.
- If unsure whether an item is allowed, contact support before listing.
- Maintain records of authenticity or legality for high-value or sensitive items.
5. Enforcement
- All listings are subject to review.
- Violations will lead to:
- Immediate takedown of the listing
- Possible refund to the buyer at the seller’s expense
- Strikes against your seller account
- Suspension or termination for repeated or severe violations
